1/2 Pound Jar - Raw Pennsylvania Honey

All honey sold is from my honey bee colonies. I don’t buy bulk honey and then repackage it. This insures the quality of the honey, knowledge of how the product was handled through every step, and upholds Uncle Harvey’s reputation/honesty to the customers.

Processing of the Honey = Honey frames are collected in the late summer and are spun in a Food Grade stainless steel extractor.  Honey is then strained, not filtered, in stainless steel screens to remove any large pieces of wax. During production, the honey is unheated and strained to remove any large pieces of wax. I’ve chosen not to filter the honey since the straining process has proven to be adequate for wax removal while retaining some of the pollen. I also don’t heat the honey to retain natural enzymes in the raw honey. Special care has been taken in every step of the process to deliver the highest quality raw honey.
